The interview process has 2 phases:
- Phase One is a 30-minute online interview where we will discuss your previous experiences, and how you would fit into MIEZAH LAB research objectives and themes.
- Phase Two is 6 weeks writing exercise where we test your technical scientific writing skills.
We generally accept 1-2 MSc students and 1-2 PhD students every year. Our students work on three research themes, namely: industrial eco-efficiency optimization, environmental nutrition modelling and Nutrition-sensitive agricultural programming and food value chain assessment.
Prospective PhD Student, should have at least one manuscript published in peer reviewed journal. Master’s students with at least one manuscript published in peer reviewed journal will enhance their prospect of selected to work with the Lab.
